Marko Kovač, candidate for councilor from the list "Dr. Vuk Kadić - Move Forward - for Podgorica and his family", said that it cannot be allowed to sacrifice parks and green areas for the sake of unplanned construction.
"While we were growing up, parks and playgrounds were our spaces of freedom, play and happy moments. Today, unfortunately, we witness attempts to destroy these spaces and turn them into collective dormitories without any additional content. We cannot allow parks and green areas to be sacrificed because of unplanned construction", he announced.
He says that green areas are crucial for health and quality of life.
"We don't let them steal our parks and playgrounds for the little ones! The vision of our movement is a city where children will have space for play and healthy development, just as we had the opportunity to grow up in such an environment. Green areas are crucial for health and quality of life, and we must not lose them," he adds.
Kovač, former Minister of Justice, also states that during his mandate "the strongest fight against organized crime and corruption was launched" and says that it is time to "sort things out at the city level".
"I felt an obligation to support the young people from the list 'Dr Vuk Kadić - Move Forward - For Podgorica and his family', because it is the only program that deals with the specific problems of us residents of the capital. Our campaign is positive and aimed at solving the problems of all of us , and does not engage in attacks on others," Kovač said.
"Our mission is clear: to preserve Podgorica for future generations, where families will be a priority, and the city will remain green, healthy and safe. We stand for a city that belongs to us and our children, and we are ready to fight for that vision," the announcement concludes.
