The former president of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, said that falls are an integral part of life and that a combination of various circumstances led to the change of government in 2020.
He said this at an international gathering dedicated to the image and work of Vidoj Žarković.
"But, let's leave it as an incident that will pass. Montenegro has good anti-fascist, civil, pro-European foundations, it shows resilience to resist the completely crazed big-state nationalism, imperialism, to resist the superficiality of Western politics generated by the monopoly of one superpower after the end of the cold war. Montenegro survives in that vortex and will find the strength to get out of that vortex and continue on the good path that was followed after the end of the Second World War," said Đukanović.
