The outgoing city government shows at every step and at every moment that it is not guided by the interests of the citizens but by personal ambitions and goals, as a result of which the citizens and the quality of their lives suffer, and there is an opportunity to change that on September 29 - said the representatives of the electoral list "It's time for order - Party of European Progress - Duško Marković" in conversations and socializing with the citizens of Podgorica from the City Quarter.
The President of the Party of European Progress, Duško Marković, and the holder of the list, Ilija Mugoša, said on that occasion that the "incompetent, irresponsible and arrogant government" must be changed, in order to "return order" to that neighborhood and the city.
Mugoša, as reported, "on the site of a children's playground near which there was a wild pile of waste", announced that the SEP, "when there is an opportunity after the change of government", will put that location in order, and that within the first hundred days.
"In ours To the Let's Fix Podgorica program is the collection and disposal of waste an important item, which implies the timely collection and removal of waste and the opening of modern facilities for ecological waste treatment," the announcement states.
The two, it is added, also visited a nearby location where "the construction of a school and a kindergarten should have started a long time ago." Marković said that the government in which he was the prime minister bought the space of the former factory "Radoje Dakić" with the plan to house a school, kindergarten and health center there and gave orders for the start of the project.
"Four years have passed since then. We see that there is nothing of that here. We have a location and a space that has been turned into a dump and a wild parking lot," he said.
He added that SEP, "after the change of government on September 29", will do everything to ensure that the location is brought to its intended use and that the construction of a school, health center and kindergarten begins there.
"It is time to change the city government, and after that we will change the state government very quickly. Because, just as we need a responsible government in Podgorica, we also need a responsible government in the country and a government that will know that it protects state and national interests, but also the interests of each of its citizens. ... It's time for responsible and professional people who will breathe life into the capital and restore dignity to our beautiful country," said Marković.
