The issue of traffic jams, apart from being one of the key problems of the city, has been further aggravated by the actions of the city government this summer, announced today from the Municipal Board of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Kotor.
"The situation is unacceptable, and these days we have had collapses in the entire city, which are slowly becoming a chronic condition. The list 'Kotor first! DPS - Neđeljko Moškov' offers in its program concrete three measures that will gradually lead to a complete rehabilitation of the situation. The new city the government, led by the DPS, will complete the complete documentation for the construction of the bypass around Kotor in the next term and will apply with it for funds from the European Union funds," the announcement states.
DPS Kotor added that "another measure is the construction of an underground parking garage, which will relieve the contact zone of the city of Kotor".
"The third entails the formation of a city transport company, along with the establishment of maritime line traffic every half hour along all settlements on the Kotor Riviera. The new city government will immediately consider the initiative of numerous citizens to review the effectiveness of traffic lights, which the outgoing administration refuses to do. Any decision we will bring it in consultation with citizens, through direct dialogue," said DPS Kotor.
