The holder of the "In word and deed!" list, Nermin Abdić, promised that after the constitution of the new government in Podgorica, children from Podgorica will have free stay in state kindergartens, that is, that the capital will subsidize the full amount of the costs, while parents whose children will attend private preschools institutions have the obligation to pay the difference in price, announced the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
"It is one of the significant program objectives that the Democratic Party of Socialists presented before the local elections, which will be held on September 29," Abdić pointed out in the announcement.
He added that free kindergarten for all "is one of the key policies of the future city administration, which will contribute not only to the improvement of the standard of living of our fellow citizens, but will also create greater social equality, the possibility of work engagement for both parents, as well as providing opportunities for socialization and development social skills for all children of preschool age".
"In order for Podgorica to become a better place for the lives of all its citizens, we will also do our best to help build new facilities for preschool institutions. We will continue the positive practice of allocating city land for these purposes, as well as releasing investors from the obligations of communal equipment. We will return Podgorica to the path of development, and 29 . in September to get a responsible, competent and professional administration, which the capital of our country deserves," said Abdić.
