The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) calls on the local administration to start acting responsibly at least towards some of the problems faced by the citizens of Kotor, announced today from the Municipal Board of the DPS Kotor.
"While counting down the last weeks of the mandate, the authorities turn a deaf ear to the situation regarding the unbearable traffic collapses, and do not take any action when it comes to maintaining cleanliness in the city. If this is so, today's scene in front of the Gymnasium speaks best - the containers are buried, nobody cares about the waste don't worry. Only the parents of the students can worry, given that the potential source of the infection is located a few meters from the building where their children live," the DPS Kotor press release points out.
They added that "apparently even Kotor is not spared from the catastrophic situation with garbage that we have the opportunity to see in other 'liberated' cities, but we appeal to the authorities to at least try to tidy up the locations that our young fellow citizens visit every day".
