The European Union will increase the budget of Podgorica for the development of agriculture by one percent, Budimir Mugoša, a candidate for councilor on the "European Union - Boris Mugoša (SDP, SD, LP and citizens) - Podgorica for example" announced during a visit to the Gintaš market.
"The previous government significantly raised the prices of services and thus burdened the business of the people who work at the market in Gintaš and all farmers. The European Union will increase the budget of the capital for the development of agriculture and the shameful previous 0,2 percent of the budget of only 250 thousand euros to increase to one percent, which will be one million and 300 thousand euros. You know that in 2021 the subsidy for milk produced in Podgorica was ten cents, and this government lowered it to eight cents. In the coming period, we will increase the subsidy for milk to 12 cents cents, because milk production in the capital is significant, and the support of the capital is minimal," Mugoša pointed out.
In the press release of the European Union, it is stated that Mugoša said that he will do everything to make the conditions on the markets as good as possible, so that we have quality and health-safe food.
"Now the current story is about what fever, do you think that healthy, high-quality and safe food can be produced in conditions that are not adequate. In the coming period, when we are part of the government, we will do everything to make it as good as possible for farmers and that the sales conditions are as good as possible more humane," said Mugoša.
The announcement states that both the candidate for mayor and the holder of the list "European Union - Boris Mugoša (SDP, SD, LP and citizens) - Podgorica for example", Boris Mugoša with the candidates from the list visited the market in Gintaš, "where talked with the citizens about the plans for the development of agriculture after the European Union becomes the backbone of the future government and about many other challenges that the citizens in this part of Podgorica are facing".
