We are witnessing constant threats to the health of citizens, intensified these days by a fever that the government clearly cannot and will not deal with, said lija Mugoša, the holder of the electoral list "Time for order - Party of European Progress - Duško Marković".
The Party of European Progress (SEP) announced that Mugoša told the citizens at the Great Market that the arrangement of city markets and maintaining the highest level of hygiene in them are part of the "Let's Fix Podgorica" program and that one of the priorities in this area is the expansion of markets and better cooperation with other city public enterprises.
"We are witnessing constant threats to citizens' health, intensified these days by Q fever, which the government clearly cannot and will not deal with. We will, when we have the opportunity after September 29, raise hygiene in the city markets to the highest level. Citizens' health is Most importantly, we will dedicate a significant part of our program activities to the improvement of Markets and to better cooperation with other public companies with better service and content. We will fix Podgorica, it's time for order," said Mugoša during a tour of the market in the "Pobrežje" (Great Market) market.
The SEP announcement states that the candidates for councilors in the elections for the Assembly of the Capital City of Podgorica and SEP activists presented the party's program in a conversation with citizens on the Great Market, in which they insist on fixing the city administration and city public enterprises that should be managed by experts, and not the politicians.
"Everything starts with the city administration and city companies, and there with those who manage. Markets and markets, Cleanliness, Landfill, Parking service, Roads, Water supply and sewerage are companies that are managed by party cadres. And the areas that these companies deal with are recognized by the citizens as the most problematic in the city. When we decide, the employment of civil servants and employees will be based on transparent competitions, and the appointment of managers on the basis of the party book is deeply unfair to the majority of citizens, and ineffective. This is one of the important factors that led to this situation in the city," said Mugoša.
