Recognizing the importance and necessity of promoting the basketball, women's handball and swimming-water polo clubs "Budućnost", which are now under the auspices of the Capital City, we want to go one step further and form a unique "Budućnost" Sports Association, which would unite all the organizations that bear their name name - Budućnost, announced candidate for councilor of the list "Jakov Milatović - For a better Podgorica" Nikola Lazović.
He said that the list of which he is a candidate will give full support and support to sports organizations and events that would promote the Capital City, "without neglecting non-Olympic sports organizations".
Lazović added that at the very beginning of the mandate, the focus will be on the renovation and improvement of the existing sports fields, as well as on the arrangement of accompanying facilities such as benches and lighting.
"By building a new city pool for all citizens, we will enable all generations to enjoy light relaxation or sports activities. For the youngest, the new pool can mean a chance to give birth to our future hopes of swimming and water polo and continue the continuity in nurturing our national team," said Lazović.
Lazović stated that their priority will be the construction of sports fields in every neighborhood with goals and backboards, as well as greater representation of exercise equipment in parks, which, he says, will improve training in nature.
He concluded that the creation of healthy habits and the additional orientation of youth towards sports, as well as spending more time in open space, is a prerequisite for the health of both young people and society as a whole.
