The program of the European Union foresees support for tenants, entrepreneurs engaged in deficit occupations and improving the position of people with disabilities, and we will also build an innovation center for young people that will be an incubator for young entrepreneurs and start-up companies, announced Miloš Mašković, a candidate for councilor on the list "European Union - Boris Mugoša (SDP, SD, LP and citizens) - Podgorica for example".
"When it comes to our program, what was particularly important for me is that our program is realistically achievable. Therefore, we offered the citizens of Podgorica everything that can be implemented in the next four years. We did not promise planes, trucks and trams that were not to realistically happen in our capital," Mašković said in a statement.
Mašković pointed out that part of the European Union program is dedicated to supporting tenants.
"We know that real estate prices are going wild, that's why we will enable even greater subsidies for tenants, we will double them in the next four-year period, in order to help people who do not have a roof over their heads. On the other hand, we will also create a database of tenants because there is currently no relevant data as to are tenants in the capital, and it is estimated that there are about twenty thousand of them", said Mašković.
According to him, there will be no lack of support for entrepreneurs who are engaged in deficit occupations.
"We will support them with subsidies for their business premises if they employ two to ten people," added Mašković.
Mašković said that a moratorium on parking prices will be introduced in the next four years.
"We will also introduce a moratorium on the prices of renting stalls at markets and markets, in order to help small entrepreneurs and thus strengthen our local economy," said Mašković.
Mašković emphasized that it is necessary to create conditions in Podgorica for young people to develop their businesses and ideas in their city.
"We will build an innovation center for young people that will be an incubator for young entrepreneurs and start-up companies and in this way enable young people to develop their businesses, their ideas in our city and to create an environment in which they grow, not because of desire they leave our city and country for success," Mašković said.
As he stated, the European Union will provide free transport for pupils, students and pensioners, i.e. free public transport, while on the other hand it will provide subsidies for those pupils and students who study outside the capital.
"We will try to revise in the best possible way what is the position of people with disabilities who are employed in the capital. We will try to analyze what are the key problems and make the position of people with disabilities better with concrete actions," Mašković concluded.
