Today is the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Beran, and the government does not celebrate this glorious date, Miro Nedić, president of the Municipal Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Beran, announced today.
He added that the day of liberation from fascism is celebrated with pride in all cities.
"Today is September 15. Beran women should be proud of that date. However, as we can see, that date has been neglected. On this day in 1944, our ancestors made a significant contribution to defeating fascism. This magnificent the date of our rich history must never fade," Nedic said in the announcement.
