Canović: Convincing victory, SD a key factor in the new government

Nihad Canović, a member of the presidency of the Social Democrats (SD), said that the "Heart for Gusinje" coalition achieved an extraordinary result and a convincing victory in the local elections.

"The Social Democrats (SD) will be one of the key political groups in the local parliament and one of the pillars of the new government. Our obligation is clear - responsible politics that will bring concrete results," said Canović.

He said that he believes that, after a successfully organized electoral process, it is in everyone's interest that unity and wisdom prevail, and that political differences be put aside.

Now, according to Canović, it is time to unite all the personnel potential of Gusinje and direct it towards the progress and prosperity of all the residents of this municipality.

"After Gusinje, the European Union expects great results in Podgorica and Kotor as well, which we, from the position of a certain future government, will make example cities. We will put an end to the current irresponsible management and make an important contribution to the upcoming political changes at the state level," concluded Canović.
