The spokesman of the Bosniak Party, Adel Omeragić, said that the "Heart for Gusinje" coalition achieved an extraordinary result in the local elections held today.

"We won 14 mandates, twice as many as the first next list. This means that we will start negotiating with other partners from tomorrow on the local government," Omeragić said briefly.

In addition to BS, the "Heart for Gusinje" coalition also includes SD and SDP.

Of the 14 mandates won by the Srcem za Gusinje coalition, seven went to BS, six to SD, and one to SDP.

Those parties, together with the coalition of Albanian parties, formed the government in Gusinje in the previous year and a half, after the coalition of BS and DPS was dissolved.

If the government would like to form parties that make up the government at the state level (BS, AF and Democrats), they need one more councilor for a majority of 16.

That support could be given to them by the list Pokret za Gusinje, which until recently consists of members of Albanian parties who decided to act separately.
