The upcoming elections in Podgorica go beyond the local level and represent the stronghold of all our struggles for your better tomorrow, told the citizens from the coalition "Europe Now - Democrats - Even Stronger - Prof. Dr. Saša Mujović" whose members spoke last night with the residents of Tološ, Block V and VI, Momišić, Novi Grad, July 13, Kruševac, Vranić and May 1, according to the announcement of this coalition.
From this coalition, they also said that the people they supported and who thanks to them are in positions of responsibility today are obstructing and blocking them.
The holder of the list, Saša Mujović, addressed the audience and explained why he ran for president.
"The first reason is a large dose of local patriotism that I feel towards Podgorica. This is the city where I grew up, grew up, and I want to return even a fraction of what it has given me. On the other hand, it is really a great honor to be recognized by the political parties PES and Democratic Montenegro, as someone who can be side by side with hardened fighters of the political scene, with honorable and honest people, led above all by Prime Minister Spajić, Mrs. Injac, Mr. Bečić, Mr. Bogdanović, Mr. Božović, Mrs. Gorčević and that's only after a few months of political involvement. To lead these people on the list is really more than a privilege," said Mujović.
The President of Democratic Montenegro, Aleksa Bečić, pointed out that certain political subjects need time to answer whether they will form coalitions with the DPS after the elections, referring to the recent guest appearance of the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, on the show "Načisto" on TV Vijesti.
"Some people need 15 minutes on television shows, they are asked a question five times and they can't answer that simple question: 'Are you going to create a majority with the DPS in any way after the elections?'. What hurts me , dear friends, what are those people to whom we gave support. Those people who, thanks to us, to you and to many honorable people throughout Montenegro, are where they are today," Bečić said.
He expressed his regret that currently there are those in Montenegro who are obstructing the prosperous development of the country, according to the announcement.
"I'm sorry that in very responsible positions, where we together put the stamp on some of them to be there, we have people who block, who obstruct us, who want to be ministers of the interior and ministers of finance and ministers of energy. They understand each other, they know everything, they are the best, they are the smartest and they will not admit and praise what all of Montenegro sees. Well, you saw, in addition to everything they have obstructed all these months, the aforementioned gentleman also attacked the Minister of the Interior, because what a miracle Mr. Šaranović he respects the Constitution and because he put both Cyrillic and Latin letters on police vehicles. Well, Mr. President, you obviously haven't read the Constitution or Njegoš, when you act like that, you attack and you don't understand how Montenegro is united, how every person is respected. , how reality is being manipulated, how the Constitution is being manipulated and how this country is moving forward," the President of Democratic Montenegro emphasized.
Councilor candidate Anđela Mićović told the audience that they are aware of the importance of these elections and that they go beyond the local level.
"They represent the fulcrum of all our struggles for your better tomorrow. We stopped the economic devastation, exposed the networks of many abuses and corrupt practices from the sharing of numerous city real estate, some apartments, some business premises, severance pay and arrogant and unlimited spending of money from the city coffers. Your money , dear citizens! There were no privileged parties for this government, and that's why we will be even stronger for Podgorica on September 29," she said.
Mitar Paunović, a candidate for councilor and spokesman for the Democrats, addressed those present in Tološi, who explained why, according to him, the citizens of Podgorica have an easy choice.
"On the one hand, you have those who would like to seize more power for themselves, because they are not satisfied with what the Constitution assigns to them in terms of the powers of the president of the state, you also have those who would like to be the mayor and prime minister instead of the deputy mayor and deputies because they are satisfied with their and not the need of Podgorica. On the other hand, you have the long-term dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, your fellow citizen and great man Saša Mujović.
If I were to explain to you the reasons why you should choose him in this competition, I would insult you, my dear fellow citizens. That's why I have no doubt that your election on September 29 will be a coalition of results, honesty and stability, a coalition of PES and the 'Even Stronger' Democrats," concluded Paunović.
