Preokret in Podgorica insists on the establishment of a special Office for European projects, in order to empower entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations and individuals who would use all the potential offered by EU programs, said Mirza Krnić, a candidate for councilor on the list "Preokret - It can't be like this anymore - Srdjan Perić".
He pointed out that, due to the lack of human resources, the Capital withdraws a very small amount of funds from the pre-accession funds of the European Union, and that large funds are available, which remain unused due to a lack of capacity.
"Ukret therefore insists on the establishment of a special Office for European Projects, which would be in charge of the preparation and implementation of projects financed by the EU. The current model, in which only a few officials perform the tasks of preparation and implementation of EU projects within the Office of the Mayor, is unsustainable.
Also, this office would have a central role in education, counseling and providing technical support in the writing and implementation of EU projects to other entities from the territory of the Capital City. Offices for EU projects will ensure that everyone, regardless of previous experience, has the opportunity to contribute to the development of the community through European funds," explained Krnić.
He pointed out that the goal of the Turnaround is to empower entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations and individuals in order to use all the potential offered by EU programs, which will directly encourage the development of our community and economic growth.
