The holder of the "In word and deed" list, Nermin Abdić, said that it is high time for Podgorica to return to development.
He spoke tonight at the forum of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) held in the Tološ Municipal Council.
According to the DPS, Abdić told the people of Tolosa that after September 29, that part of the city "will finally get all the necessary infrastructure it deserves, as one of the fastest growing Podgorica settlements".
"With the implementation of the wastewater treatment plant project, Tološ will finally be connected to the fecal sewage system, which will solve one of the biggest problems of this settlement," said Abdić.
He promised the citizens of Tološ that, in partnership, they would come up with the most optimal solution when it comes to the coverage of that settlement by public transport.
He reminded the residents of Tološ that the city administrations, headed by DPS representatives, "always did everything to meet the demands of the citizens, for which perhaps the best example is the construction of an elementary school in their settlement, the donation of which was provided by the Capital by of a socially responsible company".
DPS Vice President Jevto Eraković said that Abdić is "the kind of mayor and host that Podgorica deserves."
"I would like to remind you that under the administration led by the DPS in Podgorica, the Milenijum bridge, the southwest bypass, the boulevard towards Zeta, Zlatica, Donja Gorica and a hundred kilometers of other roads through the capital were built. Only during the mandate of the previous administration, 150 million investments were realized, and Podgorica is became a modern, modern and European city from the beginning of 2000 to 2022. We have stopped on that path of development and now we must continue had," said Erakovic.
