As holders of the original "Grbalj list - tradition, development, prosperity", we have made the decision to voluntarily exclude ourselves from further engagement in activities that conflict with the original idea of ​​common prosperity," the original list's announcement states.

They announced that the "Grbalj list", which will participate in the upcoming local elections in Kotor, is not an authentic reflection of the intentions and interests of the majority of Grbalj residents.

"As a group that is the original creator of the Grbaljska List under the slogan 'Tradition, Development, Prosperity', an initiative that came to life more than a year ago to participate in the upcoming local elections in Kotor in the fall of 2024, with the vision of fighting through the institutions of the system for the development of Grblje and the creation of conditions for a better life for future generations of our region, we consider it important to inform the public about the current status of this initiative. In fact, this was an idea that was passed down for generations, however, it never came to life in its full capacity, mostly because of various political parties that persistently sabotaged it to satisfy their own party interests, as they still do today. Nevertheless, we sincerely believed that the conditions were finally met for the launch of this project, especially because of the support we received from our fellow citizens. We believe that this idea required a unique, or at least a majority, commitment of all the people of Grbalje, and we directed our actions in that direction, trying to gather as much of Grblje as possible around it and to call on it for selfless support," the statement of the holder of the original "Grbaljska" points out. lists - tradition, development, prosperity"

Precisely for the purpose of unifying Grbalje around this idea, as they add, in the initial negotiations regarding a unified performance in the upcoming local elections, two groups participated: one was represented by citizens who supported the original idea of ​​forming "Grbalje list - tradition, development, prosperity", and the second group, the Management of FK Grbalj.

"The negotiations did not go in the desired direction, so there was a division into two camps. However, as it was just and necessary, an additional effort was made to overcome the differences and perform in a unified manner, which primarily succeeded. A list was made with representatives of all the villages and it was voted as such by the Main Board, at the meeting held in Savina Glavica on August 26.08.2024, XNUMX. year. The very next day, it was collapsed by certain individuals, who then continued with further organization and formation of this new list in the premises of FK Grblja. From all the previous actions of those individuals, one gets the impression that personal interests prevailed, all at the expense of the collective ones that were the driving force behind this initiative", they emphasize.

They add that, after careful consideration of the current situation, as the bearers of the original "Grbalj list - tradition, development, prosperity", they made the decision to voluntarily exclude ourselves from further involvement in activities that conflict with the original idea of ​​common prosperity.

"We make this decision especially in order to avoid further divisions that have cost us all dearly in the past. That is why, with this announcement, we are officially dissociating ourselves from the further activities of the newly formed "Grbaljska List", which will participate in the upcoming local elections. This kind of political grouping is not an authentic reflection of the intentions and interests of the majority of citizens of Grblje, but of individuals and a certain circle of people around them, who have other plans and interests, which also results from their current policies and actions. Accordingly, we believe it is essential to distance ourselves from the further activities of this group and inform the public that their current activities do not represent the views or interests of Grblje", the statement concludes.
