In the previous four years, we have done a lot in order to improve the quality of life of our fellow citizens, Tatjana Kriještorac, a candidate from the "Vladimir Jokić - good voice - for mayor" list, announced today.
Her statement was delivered by the Municipal Board of Democratic Montenegro Kotor.
"We bought textbooks for all primary school students, we improved and significantly improved the geronto housewives program, allocated significant funds for social benefits and scholarships for students, allocated the most funds for sports in history, which brought results in all fields, and allowances for newborn children were increased three times, for 450 euros," said Kriještorac.
She added that they are most proud of their work in the field of improving the lives of children and the elderly.
"We organized an extended stay service for all first and second grade students in all schools on the territory of the municipality, which has been functioning smoothly for two years. In this way, we have created conditions for the children to stay safely, with provided meals and work on school assignments, while parents they can fulfill their work obligations without hindrance. We have started and organized many free schools and workshops for children, a school for comics, painting, and foreign languages, and a free acting school will start soon they no longer have the cost of student cards," Kriještorac said.
She said that they had opened a day care center for the elderly, and that they had also started a day care center for people with dementia.
"It is our obligation to continue on this path and to spread a good word about life in Kotor. That is why in the coming period we will additionally develop free schools and workshops. We will fully subsidize children's stay in kindergartens, so kindergartens for children in Kotor will be free , while we will organize day care for the oldest in all parts of the municipality, with subsidies for those with the lowest incomes. Free kindergartens, places for the oldest to socialize and meet, this is good for Kotor, for Kotor in a good name," concluded Kriještorac.
