At this moment, we are carefully following the campaign of our political opponents, who, due to personal interests and agreements with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), have decided to overthrow the government in Podgorica and slow down the implementation of our development plans, Jelena Milanković, a candidate for councilor, announced today on the list "Europe now - Democrats - Even Stronger - Prof. PhD Saša Mujović.
"Their current public actions are based on the open appropriation of our successes and they present other people's ideas as if they were their own. The citizens of Podgorica see and know this. Nothing can be expected from demagogues, populists and idlers but to adorn themselves with other people's feathers, to plagiarize other people's ideas and appropriate the successes achieved by our colleagues and us. It is common knowledge that GP URA bases its entire program on ideas and initiatives, many of which have already been started and are in the implementation phase," Milanković said in a statement.
She added that they want Podgorica to become a role model and a regional example of responsible use of public resources.
"Our mission is to contribute to a better quality of life for all citizens by eliminating all inefficiencies in management and reducing expenditures to a minimum, through the implementation of controls within the Capital City system," Milanković said.
She said that they are aware of the importance of the availability of funds, they will not miss the opportunity to receive and plan to spend all the funds from international funds.
"Our plan to optimize operations and reduce costs in city companies is clear. We will establish a holding company that will unite numerous city companies, enabling common sectors and services. This business model, comparable to similar approaches in EU capitals, will simplify operations flows, improve business processes and will eliminate unnecessary resources. Our vision includes achieving greater efficiency and better management control, while harmonizing business development strategies with the long-term vision of the city from the EU and other relevant organizations such as UNESCO and Horizon Europe," said Milanković.
She said that she will plan the capital city's development budget with a focus on sustainability, development orientation and programmatic approach, based on the performance and achievements of city services and companies.
"One of the key initiatives will be the strengthening of public invitations to fill positions in the management boards of city companies and public institutions, with the aim of achieving meritocratic management," Milanković said.
She stated that the citizens of Podgorica and Montenegro definitely know who worked the hardest and best in their area and who will work even harder in the future.
"We will send plagiarists and manipulators, who appropriate other people's merits, to the political margins. Podgorica deserves the best administration - with our commitment, we will make it happen," concluded Milanković.
