"We want Podgorica to be a comfortable place for all its citizens to live, regardless of their differences, and we can achieve this by developing a tolerant and accepting social attitude. Special policies aimed at vulnerable groups are essential for building a just and inclusive society. The importance of inclusion in creating an environment that promotes equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of their differences," Džaferadžović emphasized in the statement.
She added that inclusive policies allow everyone to contribute to the community and feel valued and respected.
"Creating a positive social environment ensures that no one should feel less important or neglected, which, unfortunately, in Podgorica and in Montenegro, was often the case in the past years. Only through good practices that strengthen social cohesion and togetherness among citizens, Podgorica can become a city where we all have equal chances for a happy and dignified life. When everyone has equal opportunities and opportunities, society becomes stronger, more resilient and capable of facing all challenges, but also of rapid development and progress," said Džaferadžović. .
She said that their commitment includes supporting vulnerable groups in their daily challenges.
"We will increase the number of buildings and city areas with access for people with disabilities, in order to provide equal opportunities for everyone. Also, we will be committed to the implementation of social inclusion during employment in the City administration, without disrupting meritocracy," said Džaferadžović.
She said that the list "Europe now - Democrats - Even Stronger - Prof. Dr. Saša Mujović" will create an office and program for equality, which will help reduce discrimination against marginalized groups through the principle of two-way integration.
"The citizens of Podgorica know that they can trust us because we have visible and measurable results behind us. These results are the biggest guarantee to the citizens of Podgorica that our team works exclusively in their interest.
