Zoran Lakić, the president of the "Špiro Mugoša" Aero-Club publicly stated the falsehood that the Party of European Progress (SEP) is "trying to abuse the airport and the club 'Špiro Mugoša' for political purposes for the election campaign", SEP announced today.
Lakić said yesterday that SEP is trying to abuse the airport and club "Špiro Mugoša" for political purposes.
In response, SEP stated that Lakić is a project from their Program Let's organize Podgorica, whose goal, as they stated, was to stimulate the much-needed tourist development of the Capital City, was evaluated as a pre-election trick.
"We have clearly pointed out that we want to implement the project of the city center for panoramic flying on city land that is not currently being used, so not in the space owned or used by the Aero-club or any other legal or physical entity. Our goal is new contents that, in synergy with the existing ones, will mark the new momentum of that part of the city for the common benefit and well-being of everyone," SEP said.
They said that their desire to expand the offer with dedicated projects does not endanger anyone's property, rights or activity, but is dedicated to working on issues of public interest.
"The essence of the development of Podgorica is reflected in the proper valorization of the resources that are available, but which have not been used. Thus, one of the areas awaiting valorization is the unused area of Ćemovsko polje, which belongs to the capital city and the State, where resources can be found through a legal procedure the necessary tourist and entrepreneurial momentum," concludes the SEP announcement.
