I will work on expanding the capacity of the Home for the Elderly in Podgorica, through the construction of another facility for these purposes, announced the holder of the list "In word and deed" Nermin Abdić.

The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) announced that the president of that party, Danijel Živković, and Abdić visited the Association of Pensioners in Podgorica.

"Healthy and productive aging is the general interest of the entire society. In my upcoming four-year mandate, I will first work on expanding the capacity of the Home for the Elderly in Podgorica, through the construction of another facility for these purposes. In addition, the new city administration will strongly support the implementation of the construction of IV buildings for pensioners, which would solve the housing issue for 42 pensioner families," said Abdić.

"Keeping in mind the importance of pensioner payments in Podgorica, we will strongly advocate for the improvement of their social life through the establishment of the Office for Pensioners, but also to improve the existing social setvis Senior City Card", the DPS statement reads.
