The Berane committee of the Democrats expects the government to introduce forced administration in Berane and elect a committee of commissioners, which will replace the local parliament and adopt a budget rebalance, the party announced.
Democratic Montenegro reacted to the announcement of the Berane committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), in which they stated that the President of the Municipal Assembly (SO) of Berane, Milun Rmuš, and the Democratic councilors were responsible for the institutional chaos in that city.
"Since we were deceived in the agreement, we did not read the greater stupidity until the announcements and statements of some colleagues in local politics, in which, nevertheless, DPS took the first place with the statement that "the president of the Assembly and the Democrats are responsible for the institutional chaos in Berane", it is said. in response.
The Beran Democratic Committee said that the logic of the DPS is that those who were deceived are to blame, and that the fraudsters are correct.
"Are we surprised by the logic of Beran DPS and some of their coalition partners from the minority government? No," the Democrats responded.
They said that, according to the logic of the DPS, the President of the Municipal Assembly is to blame because he scheduled the session several times, acting on the orders of the Government, with one item on the agenda, to shorten the mandate of the current convocation of the local parliament.
According to the logic of the DPS, as they said from Democratic Montenegro, "fraudsters who have no voice or speech for months" are correct.
"These two don't even have "two fingers" to complete the job of demolishing the local government, which they started," says the response.
It is stated that the Democrats of Beran are "guilty", because they were deceived in plain view of the entire Beran and Montenegrin public.
"And because the agreement, which was reached and which was respected in everything, as everywhere, was not respected by Đukić and Rmus, two councilors famous, already now, for their fraud and dishonesty," says the reaction of the Democrats.
From that party, they said that "since they were deceived, it is clear to them that it is impossible to successfully exercise power with fraudsters".
Democratic Montenegro stated that everything they warned about came true, that there are no inter-municipal youth sports games for 70 athletes, proper scholarships for students, the Beran cultural summer, large concerts and content for tourists and the diaspora, as well as no regular salaries or security.
"It is not enough that our candidate for the mayor of the municipality publicly renounced his position. He offered little to anyone around whom the majority agreed to take the helm of the city. Even that was not enough for the fraudsters. And neither do you," the response states.
From Democratic Montenegro they said that their President of the Assembly has been scheduling a session of the local parliament for months to shorten the mandate, and that "swindlers are not coming".
“And much more. And according to your logic, who is to blame? Democrats? If it's from you and your coalition buddies - it's too much," the response states.
The Beran Democratic Committee said that they hope and expect that the Government will introduce forced administration, elect a board of trustees that will change the Municipal Assembly, that will adopt the budget rebalancing and execute the budget in a legal manner until the election of new authorities, after the election, in accordance with the Law.
"In this way, regular earnings are provided to all employees, regular transfers to companies, regular scholarships to students, regular life to the city," said Democratic Montenegro.
They said that they hope that the Government will adopt their initiative and that finally reason will win, not "lying populism and ignorance".
"To all who are cowardly and vulture, half behind the scenes, involved in this hunt, we say - see you at the elections, but also after the elections, at the talks. Don't burden them with your pranks, intrigues and subterfuges, it's a small town, everything is heard and known, including the reasons and motives of the councilors for overthrowing a successful and harmonious government", says the response.
