BS: We stand by the innocent Palestinian people, we are proud of Montenegro's vote in the UN

The Bosniak party announced that it "stands by the innocent Palestinian people" and their rights guaranteed by international conventions and treaties.

They welcomed Montenegro's decision to support the resolution on Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

"Our support to the Palestinian people is always in accordance with what we see as the most effective model of support and is devoid of all daily political calculations, because this is a matter of principle, not a matter of any number of votes in any election. As a political party, we took our position on the conflict in Palesitna by adopting the Declaration on the Rights of Palestinians and the Search for a Just Peace, which was adopted by the highest body of the Bosniak Party, and our human attitude towards the humanitarian situation in which the people of Palestine find themselves by organizing and participating in humanitarian actions organized in the purpose of providing concrete assistance to the Palestinian people," BS said in a statement.

They also say that they expressed their attitude towards the Palestinian people and the state of Palestine in the context of the current conflict by voting for the Resolution that was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations at the proposal of Palestine with 124 votes in favor, 14 votes against and 43 abstentions.

They remind that Montenegro supported that resolution on the recommendation of Ervin Ibrahimović, President of the Bosniak Party in the capacity of Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs. They point out that as a party they are very proud of it.

"The goal of the resolution is to support the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice from July, which calls for an end to the illegal Israeli occupation, the demolition of illegal settlements and the wall that separates them, and the eviction of all settlers from the occupied Palestinian territories, including occupied Jerusalem. We call on all countries of the world to make a maximum effort in order to achieve a peaceful solution to the conflict in Gaza on the basis of dialogue, with full respect for international law and UN resolutions", the announcement concludes.
