Mršulja: The construction of another kindergarten in Grblje is an important issue that needs to be approached immediately

The accommodation capacity of the kindergarten in Radanovići has been insufficient for a long time to be able to receive and enroll all the children, so the question of building another kindergarten in Grblje is one of the most important issues that should be addressed immediately, said Maja Mršulja, holder of the list "SNP - DSS - Responsible" in the upcoming local elections in Kotor.

"The area of ​​Grblje has experienced a construction boom in the last few years, so we see that the majority of residential units are being built in the area of ​​Radanović, Sutvara and other places in Grblje. The result is a large influx of people who do not stay in Grblje as tourists, but for whom this place is their home. an increasing number of children enrolling in kindergarten and primary school.

Last year, 70 children were enrolled in the kindergarten in Radanovići, and this year that number is greater than 100, with the introduction of new groups, which were needed. Namely, the kindergarten area is located on the first floor of the building, on the ground floor of which is the Post Office of Montenegro and local offices. The two rooms with cars at the kindergarten's disposal are insufficient for a much smaller number of children and not for the number of children that is growing from year to year," said Mršulja.

She said that it was precisely for this reason, and that all the children could be enrolled in the kindergarten, that this year the "Radost" kindergarten had to rent and equip space in the immediate vicinity so that all the children could be enrolled, which, as Mršulja says, represents additional and large allocation of financial resources so that this public institution could provide accommodation for children.

"The issue of building a kindergarten in Grblje is one of the most important issues that should be addressed immediately because there is no doubt that this number will increase next year, and there must be places in the kindergarten for all children. Given that the competent Ministry of Education is the department in whose jurisdiction it is, among other things, the issue of building new schools and kindergartens, and that the Municipality of Kotor owns real estate on the territory of Grblje, our task is to, together with the Public Institution 'Radost' and the Ministry of Education, start the construction process by making a decision on the transfer of municipal land in the part of Grblje where it is most adequate and where the Municipality owns immovable property as well as exemption from communal equipment of this land, in order to create formal and legal prerequisites for the start of the construction of the kindergarten, which Grblje necessarily needs, and solve this issue in a permanent way," concluded Mršulja.
