Đuro Marković, candidate for councilor of the Democratic Alternative in the upcoming local elections in Kotor, said that he will conduct a continuous analysis of losses on the water supply network using advanced technologies such as leak detectors and GIS systems, and create a detailed cadastre of all water installations in order to identify critical parts of the network.
"We will reduce the number of illegal consumers, by identifying and legalizing illegal connections in order to reduce losses and dependence on the regional water supply. We will install a new pipeline that will enable a more stable and high-quality water supply for the residents of Risno and Kostanjica. We will put the Stara fortica reservoir into operation in order to provided a stable water supply for the area of Grblje," he promised.
Marković also announced the installation of a new water supply system in the area of Trojica in order to improve the water supply for Pržice and Duba. He said he would ensure that the new installation would provide continuous supply without restrictions, even during dry periods.
"The start of work and the completion of the construction of the sewage network through Prčanj, Stoliv, Verige and Perast. We will ensure that the new sewage network meets all ecological standards and contributes to the preservation of the environment. Prepare a detailed project for the construction of the sewage network in Škaljar. Start work on the construction of the sewage system as sanitary conditions and environmental protection would be improved," concluded the Democratic Alternative candidate.
