The candidate for the mayor of "Podgorica List" in the upcoming local elections in the capital, Andrej Milović, said that he is afraid that the extradition of Do Kwon will not be the subject of trade, the package of which will include the Airports of Montenegro and the granting of a concession to South Korea.
"Why am I saying this? Because when the Court of Appeals decided against the law that Do Kwon should be extradited to South Korea, Spajić was very pleased and did not look kindly on the fact that I insisted that the Supreme Court decide on it. In those days, Spajić for the first time begins to speak positively about the South Korean offer for the Airports of Montenegro and that this offer is acceptable to him, even though he has been preparing everything for months to give the concession over the Airports to the French," says Milović in a statement sent to the media.
The moment it looked like Do Kwon was going to South Korea, everything turned around, he points out.
"By extraditing Do Kwon to South Korea, we would not learn the complete truth about the Do Kwon case, the role of Spajić, Abazović and other actors. I hope that the US has enough mechanisms to put pressure on Spajić (investigations related to debt, Petijevići road, Adriatic-Ionian, LNG and everything else) and that they will manage to 'force' Spajić to hand over Do Kwon to our strategic partner, in order to reveal the full truth and compensate the investors.
Otherwise, Do Kwon will also be part of Spajić's new trade in state interests and resources, as compensation for covering up this case," Milović pointed out.
He said that additional exposure of Spajić lies in Božović's decision to extradite Do Kwon, i.e. whether Do Kwon will be extradited to the US or South Korea.
"What is crucial in this case is the correlation between the Do Kwon case and the granting of the Montenegrin Airport concession to South Korea. Therefore, I ask Spajić, did he extort extradition in order to cover up the case, in exchange for the Montenegrin Airport concession?", concludes in Milović's announcement.
