In the announcement of the European Union, which in addition to the LP consists of the Social Democrats (SD) and the Social Democratic Party (SDP), it is stated that Drašković referred to the political situation in the country and the significance of these local elections in this regard.
"These local elections are being held at a time when the fate of Montenegro is uncertain, as its path to the European Union is in question. All thanks to the political den into which this clero-nationalist government, led by Mandić and Spajić, has led us, it is a government financed by citizens of Montenegro, and it serves another country against its own country," said Drašković.
The holder of the list "European Union (SD, SDP, LP and citizens) - Kotor will shine!", Miloš Čelanović, said that there is no concern for those who manage the city for the people of Kotor.
"Those who run our city do not care about their Kotor residents and we will change that, and you will give us a chance for that, with your vote, let us implement the program, to realize our project that solves traffic jams in the city, let us give you let's show how Kotor is taken care of," Čelanović pointed out.
He added that Kotor is a city of social democracy and liberal thought.
"We stand before you united with ideas, strength and energy to change something in our city," said Čelanović.
He emphasized that there are many problems in Kotor and that the previous authorities have shown that they have no intention of solving them.
"There are problems and not a small number, there were changes in the authorities in our city, promises, various political combinations, there was everything and anything, some would say political corruption, but without any valid results. We are still stuck in traffic jams and Furthermore, Kotor is a dirty city and we still don't have a single hotel in the most attractive locations in our city," said Čelanović.
The announcement states that he "invited the women and men of Kotor to vote for the European Union in the elections on Sunday, which will show how Kotor is properly taken care of".
"We will all together, as allies, collectively, do our best to lead Kotor the way it deserves. We must not fail to bring Kotor back to us and make Kotor shine," said Čelanović.

The candidate on the list, Mladen Živković, said that among the constituents of the European Union there is agreement on basic national issues, and that this is what makes the list on which he is on superior compared to the others.
