Journalist and publicist Danilo Burzan supported the list of the European Union for the upcoming elections in Podgorica and the candidate for mayor Boris Mugoša. Although he thinks that there are several good offers for the future of Podgorica, Burzan said that he thinks that the list of the European Union is the closest to what he himself would like to do for his city, according to the statement submitted by that coalition.
"First, at the head of the list is Boris Mugoša as a guarantor of quality, seriousness and consistency in the implementation of an otherwise very high-quality program. Boris has already demonstrated and confirmed his human and political potential as a member of the Parliament of Montenegro. He has never been involved in any scandals He is a true fighter for a civil, secular, social justice society. Of course, the list of the European Union cannot win primacy, but he will be a decisive factor in the new city government, in which Boris Mugoša could be the solution as a successful mayor.
As a non-partisan person, I supported the list of the European Union and because of the need to unite the political forces that want an independent, civil and prosperous Montenegro as a member of NATO and the European Union. I wish success in these elections to the other lists that are committed to this as well," Burzan explained in a letter of support to the European Union and Budimir Mugoš.
He pointed out that since the current situation in Podgorica is not only unsatisfactory, but also worrisome, all Podgorica residents should think carefully before taking the ballot and rounding the number they chose on Sunday.
"The fact that there are 13 offers is convenient for choosing, but it is not easy to choose the 'right' ones because most of them offer 'towers and cities' with a story and nothing inspires confidence that they will make Podgorica better for the lives of all its residents. Those voters who are good connoisseurs opportunity, but also the people who are offered for the new government, it will be easier for them to decide. The others should rely on the opinions of more experienced people whom they trust, or simply accept the candidate's pre-election story," Burzan concluded.
