On the voter list for the local elections in Podgorica on September 29, there are more than 3.300 people who have the right to vote in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity Republika Srpska and Serbia, said the president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Danijel Živković.
"We are obliged to meet both the domestic and international public. This issue will be internationalized," said Živković at the DPS press conference in the Assembly.
He said that on election day, he would prevent each of those persons from voting.
"The parliamentary majority wants to achieve victory in Podgorica by bringing people. Now, with irrefutable evidence, we call on the prosecution to deal with this issue," he said.
When asked by the journalist, Živković said that they have evidence, and that they will be delivered to the electoral committees, and that in this way they will be prevented. He added that such a case was in Belgrade, and that the elections were repeated because of voters from the RS.
"We have information that they have already bought a ticket to come," he said and added that they know they have won the election.
Živković stated that one cannot have two or more residences and that, apart from citizenship, residence is a requirement.
Commenting on the announcements by the President of the Assembly and the leader of the New Serbian Democracy, Andrija Mandić, that he would put in the procedure to amend the Law on Montenegrin Citizenship, Živković said that everyone who gets citizenship after two years gets the right to vote, and that it would be electoral engineering.
The DPS leader said that his party will protect the constitutional order.
