Montenegro will continue to support Ukraine in the fight to preserve sovereignty and territorial integrity and advocates for determining responsibility for all crimes since the beginning of Russian aggression, said the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović.
During the second day of his participation in the United Nations General Assembly in New York, he attended the opening of the General Debate, participated in the meeting of the Group of Friends for Accountability regarding the aggression against Ukraine, and met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra, Ima Tor Faus, and the Special Envoy of the European Union for Dialogue of Belgrade and Pristina by Miroslav Lajčak.
"During the meeting with Lajcak, issues of regional stability and European integration were discussed, with special reference to the importance of a clear European perspective for the countries of the Western Balkans," the MFA announced.

Ibrahimović emphasized that Montenegro's progress, along with clear messages from Brussels that enlargement is a priority, represent an additional incentive for all candidate countries.
Ibrahimović signed an agreement with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra in the area of avoiding double taxation.

"During the conversation, it was assessed that high-level meetings and addressing issues of mutual interest contribute to the further development of economic cooperation, but also to the overall development of interstate relations," it concluded.
