Today you have the opportunity to hear the Prime Minister who says that he knows that some political move will harm Montenegro and that on the basis of that he is ready to withdraw that move and destroy the dignity of the country, announced the president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Danijel Živković.
DPS announced that the list "Kotor first! DPS – Neđeljko Moškov" held its final convention last night ahead of Sunday's elections.
At the convention in the hall of the Cultural Center, "it was emphasized that changes will follow in Kotor on Sunday, and that the outgoing government in the city does not have a single serious result to present to the citizens".
Živković said that the members of the outgoing government in Kotor already know today that they will lose the elections on Sunday.
"As far as Kotor is concerned, we were replaced here in 2016. I have never seen such an incompetent and unprofessional government anywhere, which is capable of making complicated things even more complicated. When you come here, you just listen to the story of traffic jams. Someone will say, we didn't have enough time. You've had eight years to try to solve at least one of the four biggest problems. They don't know how to do it, they wouldn't complicate what's already complicated by putting up traffic lights. has to wait in the tunnel for an hour and a half or two, thinking that they are doing the city good," Živković pointed out.
He also said that he had monitored the implementation of the capital budget in the past four years.
"That's when I realized how incapable they are of actually doing any project. I know that the talk about projects may not have excessive value in today's political environment, but don't forget that in just a year and a few months of being in power here, we managed to solve the subway project, which was both risky and delicate. That's why this local government doesn't deserve the attention of the citizens, and I can say that they seem so anemic and unconvincing today that they will lose. elections", assessed Živković.
He also touched on events at the state level.
"Today you have the opportunity to hear the prime minister who says that he knows that some political move will cause damage to Montenegro and that on the basis of that he is ready to withdraw that move and destroy the dignity of the country. You have the president of the country, who goes to the region and then admires the sommeliers skills of the president of the neighboring country, humbly and servilely serving such interests, not wanting to be a descendant of those glorious ancestors who stood upright even when it was very difficult for the fate of Montenegro and who were ready to lay down their lives for their country Assembly that is not able to congratulate the Independence Day of Montenegro. Such people do not deserve to be in responsible positions in the state and such people deserve a warning in the elections in Kotor and in Podgorica, and after that in the extraordinary parliamentary elections," said Živković.
The president of the DPS board of Kotor, Neđeljko Moškov, said that the citizens of Kotor today live in total chaos, with many moving to other areas, because there is no vision for the development of the city.
"We have allowed our city to be run by interns, who boast that they tried to do something. I don't want my city to be run by people who try, I want it to be run by people who solve problems. I want the city to take care of all people, not just about those on whom the government depends. I want this city to have smiling people, who will not live next to the sewage that flows under their windows, or wait in lines from Radanović to Dobrota," he said.
The first candidate from the list, Željko Aprcović, emphasized that he is convinced of the victory of the "Kotor first of all! DPS – Neđeljko Moškov" list on Sunday, and that the atmosphere at the final convention testifies to that.
"The energy we saw tonight gives us the right to believe that we will achieve a convincing victory on September 29. And that victory for the reason that our list includes people who have vision, morals, strength, knowledge, who have love for Kotor and Montenegro and who want changes in Kotor. Those changes must happen after eight years of government that has done almost nothing for our city," emphasized Aprcović.
In addition to them, candidates for councilors Marija Pilastro, Marija Jablan, Nikola Banjević, Davor Magud, and longtime Kotor sailor Jovo Bećir also spoke at the final convention.
