Members of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) in the Parliament of Montenegro, Slađana Kaluđerović and Bogdan Božović, will support the initiative to open a parliamentary investigation regarding the review of the work of state authorities in the investigations into the beating of journalists and the murders of Pavle Bulatović and Duško Jovanović, announced the SNP.
"The SNP absolutely supports the announcement of the President of the Assembly on the parliamentary investigation, as the formation of a survey committee to collect information on investigations into the violence and murders of journalists, politicians and independent intellectuals. We must finally get out of the darkness of those unfortunate years, and illuminate our future path with the truth," he said. Bozovic.
The President of the Assembly Andrije Mandić announced the day before yesterday that the parliamentary clubs of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) and the Democratic People's Party (DNP) will launch a parliamentary investigation into the case of the beating of the former editor of "Dan" Duško Jovanović in 2000, as well as the cases of the beating of Voj Lalović, Željko Ivanović , Gojko Mitrović... "by groups known in the public as the "black threes".
Kaluđerović pointed out that the SNP will help in these investigations with its full capacity.
"Pavle Bulatović, Minister of Defense in the Government of the FRY, a synonym for free journalism, Duško Jovanović, as well as many other prominent intellectuals who opposed the dominant narratives at the time of the DPS, represent a symbol of resistance and victims of the repressive policies of that time. And all free-thinking citizens and professionals are "our" people. And we will stand by them at all times. As we stood bravely during the dark years of the former regime," said Kaluđerović.
