The candidate for mayor of the list "European Union - Boris Mugoša (SDP, SD, LP and citizens) - Podgorica for example", Boris Mugoša said at the press conference that Podgorica is at a turning point and that it is of great importance that citizens of the capital by their participation in the electoral process contribute to the change of the current bad government.
He said that on September 29, the unsuccessful story of the current government will end.
"Our victory in these elections is the beginning of the end of a settled state government whose cohesive factor is armchairs. This is also evidenced by the brutal official campaign, which has been especially intensified in recent days and is proof of panic and the political end of the outgoing government," said Mugoša.
According to him, the pressures we are witnessing, especially in recent days, are all the more reason to go to the polls en masse.
"The mission of the European Union is to bring about changes with you, dear citizens, that will make Podgorica an exemplary city. This cannot be done only by parties, we need all of you to achieve victory on Sunday. And victory is within reach and I am sure that we will achieve it. The European Union will be the biggest winner of these elections and a new government will be formed based on our concept and we will be the backbone of the new city government," Mugoša said.
He especially invited all those citizens who have not yet decided to vote.
"To be honest, I completely understand them being disappointed with the politicians' performance. However, I want to ask them to vote on Sunday, despite their justified dissatisfaction. A lot depends on you and your vote is crucial. Our city is in collapse and chaos. Come out, so that we sorted out and organized the city, because the constituents of the government talk all kinds of things about each other and the city is messier than ever and chaos reigns everywhere, which we have to put an end to," said Mugoša.
He expressed satisfaction with the campaign led by the European Union.
"We ran a positive campaign, we did not insult our political competitors, but we clearly told them that "enough is enough", because we will not allow anyone to demolish, collapse and humiliate our city", concluded Mugoša.
