Vuk Kadić, the candidate of the Forward Movement for mayor of Podgorica, believes that the list he led will be the most pleasant surprise of today's local elections.
"Regardless of the turnout, we expected a good result, I think our voters recognized our work during the six weeks of the campaign, depending on the turnout we will see how many percentages we will have. We announced that we would be the most pleasant surprise, that will be confirmed very soon. Why turnout was so low, I think you should ask the actors of the current government, I think they are the biggest culprits," Kadić told "Vijesti".
When asked with whom they could enter into a post-election coalition, he says:
"Knowing the genesis of our movement, I think it would be logical that those people would be the ones who brought changes on August 30, 2020. What we will insist on is our election program, and that the people who will be in leadership positions will be the ones who are most responsible, and not the party-eligible ones. It doesn't matter who belongs to which party, but we have to look for people who have the best references," said Kadić.
