DPS is a convincing winner of the local elections, we won 11 mandates regardless of all the announcements that we will not do well in the elections, Aleksandar Bogdanović from DPS told TV Vijesti.
"Eleven mandates is a great result. When we look cumulatively at what the Demorate-PES list won, we see that with 3.300 votes it experienced a debacle. Not only it, but all the parties that make up the government at the state and local level. Great result of the DPS in the elections in Kotor," concluded Bogdanović.
The holder of the Democrats-Movement Europe list in Kotor, Vladimir Jokić, said that he will form a coalition government in Kotor without any problems. He also announced the party's data from the completed local elections in Kotor.

Ognjen Vukasović from the list of Democrats and the Europe Now Movement in Kotor said that, according to current data, they most likely won ten mandates, i.e. one more than in the previous elections.
He also told reporters that DPS is experiencing a drop in confidence.
"The elections showed that the citizens believe in the continuity, stability and good results of this government in the previous period. These results have shown that today. In relation to some future events, let's wait until the results are announced, the assembly is constituted, and then, of course, in the conversation with the partners with whom we had fair cooperation in this campaign as well, we will talk and I am sure that we will find a good modality so that in the future four-year period this government will continue to make Kotor function as a good, sought-after city..." he said.
He said that DPS will not form the government.
"We will form a government with partners. Bearing in mind the strength and growth we have shown in relation to the previous elections, I believe that we will approach all negotiations responsibly, that in relation to the support of our citizens, but also with mutual respect, we will very easily, on the basis of good faith, reach a coalition agreement," stated Vukasović.
Local elections were held today in Kotor, where 18.498 citizens had the right to vote.
In the elections in Kotor, 10.104 citizens, or 54,68 percent of those registered in the electoral register, voted, the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) announced.
Citizens chose between 12 lists.
The Montenegrin Civic Action, the list "Za Kotor - Miljan Popović", the Democratic Alternative - "Dr. Davor Kumburović - Da se Kotor pita", the European Union and the Citizens' Group - Guardians of the City are participating in the elections.
In the race for a seat in the local parliament, there will be a coalition for the future of Kotor, which consists of the New Serbian Democracy Democratic People's Party, then the Kotor Movement - Siniša Kovačević, the Croatian Civic Initiative, the Democratic Party of Socialists.
The coalition made up of the Democrats and the Europe Now Movement, the Grbaljska lista, as well as the coalition made up of the Socialist People's Party and the Democratic Serbian Party, are participating in the elections.
