The head of the DPS parliamentary club, Andrija Nikolić, from the party's election headquarters in the capital, said earlier that they recorded a large number of irregularities during the election day in Podgorica and Kotor.
"Election day in Podgorica is over, as in Kotor. We registered a large number of irregularities, our representatives wrote objections, and the largest number of objections refer to voters who illegally exercised their right to vote. We noted all of this," Nikolić pointed out.
He added that one indicator is that 14.000 more people entered Montenegro compared to the same weekend last year.
"We will notify the European Commission. This is not a problem of Montenegro, but of the region. The neighboring country is trying to influence the elections in Montenegro," assures Nikolić.
He said that all illegalities have been listed and that he will file criminal charges against persons who illegally exercised their right to vote.
"We will mark these elections as elections with the shadow of irregularities," he added.
When asked whether he will recognize the results of the election, Nikolić said that the answer to that question will be final after the findings of the prosecution.
"As far as our expectations are concerned, you saw that we did not prepare a scenario in Šavnica. We expect the growth trend of DPS to continue, and the government coalition to record a trend of decline," he said.
In response to accusations from the coalition Za budućnost Podgorica that an attempt by the DPS to thwart the regularity of the election day was recorded, Nikolić said that the fate of Podgorica should be decided by the citizens of Podgorica.

"It is not appropriate or common for someone from Pale or Subotica to decide who will be the city government in Podgorica. You had several graphic examples of illegal acts by current protagonists in power. When it is known that the head of the Assembly Andrija Mandić is in illegal possession of the citizenship of Montenegro, and when it is known that Mandić once called on the citizens of Montenegro who received Serbian citizenship after 2006 not to report it... If we all know this, then it is no wonder that this is happening during election day," Nkolić pointed out.
"Whoever exercised his right to vote, and this was not guaranteed by the law, will be subject to criminal prosecution by the DPS," he added.
