July 13, the Day of the Uprising of the Montenegrin People and the Day of Montenegrin Statehood, was marked by laying wreaths on the monument to the fallen soldiers at Stražica in Pljevlja.
The president of the veterans' organization in Pljevlja, Vidoje Despotović, and the president of the Municipality of Pljevlja, Mirko Đačić, spoke about the importance of this date.
Đačić said that the victims of the national liberation war and anti-fascism are obligated to an unforgettable and eternal gratitude.
In addition to the Municipality and veterans' organizations, wreaths were also laid by representatives of political parties.
