If an attempt is made to repeat the legally concluded vote, it is clear that it would be open lawlessness and an attack on the Party of European Progress (SEP) and its mandates, SEP announced.
The party said that they did not want to believe that this could be the intention of the leader of the Naprijed Movement, Vuk Kadić, "a doctor and humanist, who presented himself in the campaign as a European, a legalist and a politician with a civic profile."
"Voting ended two days ago, and the elections are over. If someone thinks that they have been harmed during the counting of votes, they have the opportunity to check the accuracy and precision of the counting at specific polling stations. What would be the harshest condemnation is the very attempt to resort to electoral engineering through a request for a repeat of the legally concluded vote, which was confirmed by the signed minutes of authorized persons," the announcement states.
"That would be a reason to, in parallel with the involvement of national institutions, inform all relevant international organizations and addresses - and ask for a reaction towards the submitter of such a request, but also those who obviously want to realize their plan through Dr. Kadić, and to our detriment. That, simply , cannot pass," SEP said.
