Vuk Kadić, the leader of the list of the "Forward" Movement, submitted 14 complaints to the Election Commission of the Capital City tonight due to alleged irregularities in the elections held on Sunday in Podgorica. The commission rejected all objections, "Vijesti" learned unofficially.

Kadić asked the commission, whose session was held late this evening, to annul the election and repeat voting at 14 polling stations, where 10.482 voters were registered.

According to the preliminary election results, 5.979 citizens with the right to vote voted at those polling stations on Sunday.

The alleged irregularities referred to by Kadić concern the mismatch between the number of ballots and the number of control coupons, and one related to voting in Doljani, for which an extract from the voter's list has disappeared.

"Vijesti" learned unofficially that the Montenegrin European Party also filed an objection, but withdrew it in the meantime.

The "Forward" movement won 2.233 votes, and they needed at least 203 more to pass the census.

Kadić has the right to complain to the State Election Commission (SEC), and if it also rejects him, he can appeal to the Constitutional Court. If the SEC accepts his objections, the elections will be repeated.
