At a time when kyu (Q) fever is ravaging Nikšić, while the health of citizens is at risk and while we are witnessing the disappearance of livestock, the secretary of the Secretariat for Communal Affairs and Traffic Vidak Krtolica does not respond to requests for free access to information related to the mentioned topic, it was announced from the Municipal of the board of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nikšić.
The DPS says that Krtolica does not make a decision in accordance with the Law on Free Access to Information, but reports in the form of a letter that it does not have the requested data.
They state that they sought the following information:
- Which person issued the order to bury cows infected with Q fever in Bunići, Župa Nikšićka, which person issued the order to dig up and transport the dead infected cows and who determined the location in Bogetići and who owns the land where the infected cows were buried again?
"However, in his public appearances, the president of the Municipality of Nikšić denies it, saying: 'I forwarded it to the competent secretariat, which acted further...'. Therefore, we invite the first person of the Municipality of Nikšić and the first person of the Secretariat for Communal Affairs and Traffic to come to an agreement tell the truth and find out who is hiding behind whom, and finally give the citizens answers to the submitted questions," the announcement reads.
"In conclusion, this is another indicator of the attitude of the Nikšić government towards the citizens of Nikšić, towards their health and towards agriculture as a strategic branch of the development of Montenegro. Not for long. While they are hiding behind each other, let them be clear that they cannot hide from the citizens' court, and what the citizens think about them and their work, they will understand in a few months," it concludes.
