Defense Minister Dragan Krapović said that he expects the session of the Defense and Security Council to be held in due course.
He believes that it is necessary for it to happen as soon as possible.
"Replacements and appointments are a continuous process, it is something that happens regularly," he told reporters in Budva, where he is participating in the "To Be Secure Forum".
He says that the situation in the Army is regular.
"Monday is Army Day, which will be regularly celebrated," he added.
When asked by journalists whether the situation with Chief of General Staff Zoran Lazarević undermines confidence in Montenegro as a credible member of NATO, Krapović said that all obligations are fulfilled in full.
"It happens in other countries as well. It is a natural process," he said.
