As a spokeswoman for the Democratic People's Party (DNP), and a person who is involved in theater arts, I would like to highlight the inappropriate media attacks on prof. Dr. Vesna Bratić, a full professor at the university, that no man in Montenegro or elsewhere has ever made a name for himself with any attacks on the image of a woman and her civil rights, Jovana Todorović, spokeswoman for the DNP, announced today.
"And not only did he not become famous, but sooner or later he was sanctioned before the judicial authorities, so it is logical that Mrs. Bratić, who is also the president of the Political Council of the United Montenegro and the former Minister of Education, Science and Culture, appeals that the authorities institution address the author of ill-mannered comments and rude threats aimed at her civil personality," Todorović pointed out in the announcement.
United Montenegro announced today that the president of the political council of that party, the former minister of education, science, culture and sports, Vesna Bratić, was the target of a threat on social networks.
Todorović added that "throughout history, our country has always had a large number of women, who illuminated the face of the country, and proved that they can make a strong contribution in the fight for a just and dignified Montenegro, both in war and in peace."
"That is why the DNP poses the crowning question, how long will the representatives of the weaker sex, women, wives, mothers, all those who fight for the dignity of Montenegro, be victims of frivolous citizens, hidden behind masked addresses, eager threats, lack of culture and everything that is bad for Montenegro it is absolutely not necessary on her European journey. Therefore, the DNP calls on the police and the prosecutor's office to sanction all authors of heinous threats against a woman in Montenegro today, where examples of misogyny and violence against the weaker sex are not rare, and are even increasing, which is finally necessary put an end to and reject the lack of dialogue culture and all rude outbursts on social networks," concluded Todorović.
