The European Progress Party (SEP) announced that it will defend the civil sector's right to free and independent work.
"If anyone was exposed to critical evaluations by the non-governmental sector, it was the government before August 30, 2020. But NGOs were never denied the freedom to express their views. Four years after 'liberation', non-governmental organizations experienced a direct threat to its survival on the social scene by those same 'liberators,'" SEP announced.
They add that the Russian model of dealing with free opinion must not and cannot pass in Montenegro.
"The adoption of DF's law on foreign agents, apart from turning Montenegro into a total autocracy, would definitely stop our path to membership in the European Union," concludes the SEP statement.
