The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, said from Dubrovnik that it is important to "put the politics of the nineties behind us".
After walking around Dubrovnik, he said that he wanted to send a message of good-neighborly cooperation from that Croatian city.
He said that Dubrovnik is the jewel of the Croatian coast and that it is one of the most important cultural and historical centers in the Mediterranean.
"33 years ago, this city was a victim of tragic war events in which it suffered significant suffering and destruction, which, unfortunately, was also contributed to by the politics of our country at the time. It is important that we leave the politics of the XNUMXs behind us and that, freed from misconceptions and costly mistakes from the past, we are moving forward towards a common European future," Milatović wrote on Iks.
