The Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Brigadier General Zoran Lazarević, said that it is true that he wrote to the members of the Defense and Security Council, because the Minister of Defense Dragan Krapović forbade communication with the offices of the Prime Minister and the Assembly, not with the President.
"I had no desire to listen to Krapović, but we are witnessing an orchestrated attack in front of the Council session. Let them watch the video from the Military Day with the RTCG where the Chief of the General Staff is not present... It was a political meeting of the Democrats. It is true that I sent a letter to the members of the Council, because he prohibited communicating with the offices of the Prime Minister and the Assembly, not with the President," Lazarevic told reporters in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense.
He says that he is convinced that Krapović and "someone else with him" are deliberately collapsing the defense and security system.
"Before the engine, the reason is that it interferes in the work of the Council. The Army can be commanded by me and the Council. At the EU Military Council, Montenegro's chair will be empty. When it comes to the engine, Krapović also wanted to buy it because of the difference in Let him explain why nothing was done about the installation of the radar on Zeko's head. When asked by the journalist about Krapović's statements that he was instructed by opposition parties and former president Milo Đukanović, he said that he is "an officer of the Army and of this country."
"The previous chief was Milutin Đurović, my friend, let him explain how he is. If I am Milo's general, then Đurović is Bečić's general, neither Đurović is Bečić's, nor am I Milo's, we are officers of this Army and this country and it is ultimately it's time to put an end to it. I hope that the members of the Council will make a decision on this topic tomorrow, I believe in these people, in their credibility, whatever decision they make, I will fully respect it," he said.
He says that Krapović first justified the request for his dismissal with rejuvenation, now with other reasons.
"He should not lie. He is undermining the system with his party comrades," Lazarevic said. "I will respect every decision".
As he added, tomorrow he will file a complaint against Krapović with the Basic Court for discrimination...
