It is unacceptable that the water from Mareza has not been drinkable for 11 days, announced today Miloš Krstović, candidate for councilor of the Movement for Podgorica in the Assembly of the Capital City.
"As someone who comes in front of a responsible political entity and who brought down the local government in Podgorica precisely because of this attitude, I now firmly claim that in the future city administration, if the Movement for Podgorica participates in it, this kind of behavior will not be allowed. It will not rain and it will not may surprise the capital city's company, which is financed from the pockets of all citizens of Podgorica. We will deal with problems more proactively, and the prevention of such cases will be much greater," Krstović said in a statement.
He added that what is also a problem in this case is the meager and insufficient information provided to citizens.
"A higher level of transparency is what we must provide to the people, if we want to be of service to them. The Movement for Podgorica will not allow a certain political cadre, without results in his position, to hide behind his party, but will show himself before the people and bear and political and professional responsibility. We are telling the citizens that with us they will get a responsible city administration that will solve their problems and make Podgorica a modern and European city," said Krstović.
