The Parliamentary Administrative Election, with eight votes "for" and one abstention, determined the proposal of candidates for the members of the State Election Commission (SEC) and their deputies.
"The following are proposed for members and deputies from the positions: Radisav Drobnjak (member), Jovan Milić (deputy), Marko Šljukić (member), Predrag Kovačević (deputy), Veljo Čađenović (member), Miloš Giljen (deputy), Velizar Kaluđerović ( member), Vladimir Čađenović (deputy).
Nataša Pešić (member), who was also proposed as secretary of the commission, was nominated for members and deputies from the ranks of the opposition, and chairwoman Jelena Nedović (PES) said that no proposal for her deputy had been submitted. Vera Mijatović was proposed as a member, but no proposal for a deputy was submitted. The following were proposed for the composition of the SEC: Aleksandar Jovićević (member), Aleksandar Mitrović (deputy), Ljiljana Jokić Kapa (member), for whom no deputy was also proposed, Nedović listed
She added that one representative of the political party of the minority party that won the most votes should be appointed as a permanent member, while his deputy should be from another minority community.
Haris Mekić as a member and Amer Dacić as a deputy were proposed as candidates from the ranks of minority nations.
Although the composition of the SEC should have been formed immediately after the parliamentary elections, it was not possible to reach an agreement. The problem was a member and deputy from the "Hrabro se Broji" coalition, because the Democrats are in power, and the Citizens' Movement (GP) URA is in the opposition. Also, at the time, the opposition Bosniak Party (BS) demanded the position of a member and a deputy, one as a minority party, and the other as the second strongest opposition party.
Social Democrats (SD) MP Boris Mugoša said that it is difficult to change the commission during the election cycle, because the election processes in Podgorica are not over, and the elections in Budva and Berane will follow. He called for the process to be postponed until the election processes are completed, as this would cause negative reactions from international partners.
Chairperson Nedović replied that she agreed, but that there must be exceptions, because in Montenegro elections are held every two months, and on the other hand, the current composition of the SEC does not reflect the current situation, because currently the Movement for Change (PzP) has a member. which is not a parliamentary party.
At the session, a resolution was passed on the severance pay for the retirement of Veselin Bakić, advisor to the former President of the Assembly Danijela Đurović.
