The civil movement URA handed over the evening paper "URA- Blažo Rađenović- Drugačie" to the Budva Municipal Election Commission (MEC) for the upcoming November extraordinary local elections, convinced that they will be the headquarters of the future Budva government.
The holder of the list, Blažo Rađenović, said that after November 17, there will finally be an executive power in Budva that will be responsible, dedicated and provide real service to all citizens.
"What we have been hearing for months from the people who brought Budva into a situation where they broke through the bottom left by the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), we believe every word they say. For the reason that both blocs of former members of the Democratic Front (DF) are the best they know about each other what they did in the previous period and what they made of Budva. What we will definitely not do in the future is to build our success on their failure. We want a different Budva will be prosperous, which will give new plans, new investments and bring to Budva something that we have not seen until now, and which all the constituents have had the opportunity to show and prove their results, but they have done the opposite," emphasized Rađenović.
He pointed out that "we had the opportunity to see in 2017, when a new executive power was formed after a long period of DPS rule, where first the Democrats ruled for one period, and after them the DF, that all of them showed, unfortunately, limited results, additional Budva and unfortunately the waste of resources that were unfairly taken from Budva".
"You know that my task in the previous period was to start returning what was stolen from our citizens and to correct injustices. One of such injustices was corrected precisely during the reign of the 43rd Government, jointly when I was the head of JP. Morsko dobro' when we returned the Port of Budva, not to the Public Enterprise, which was originally our goal. So, decentralization in every segment and in every aspect. Unfortunately, you saw that all the good decisions we made were in the interest of the citizens, these people have destroyed because they simply want bad things for the citizens. They showed after the May elections that they do not want to form an executive power that will be at the service of the citizens. I hope that this agony that has been going on for a long time will not continue, that we will not have a situation that the Municipality of Budva is ruled from the Spuša prison, that criminal clans form the political image of Budva, but that the citizens of Budva will finally recognize this and implement it in the right way after November 17," said Radjenović.
He emphasized that it is their obligation to the citizens of Budva to express their agenda again after the elections and that this is the only way they will gather the future constituents of the government.
"We will not give up our principles for a single moment, and that is the only right way to lead Budva to a green branch," concluded Rađenović.
URA GP leader Dritan Abazović said that he expects the Gordian knot as far as Budva is concerned to be cut on November 17 and that the citizens will finally get local government.
"What is happening in this city is for the column, believe it or not. Many of those who participate in these elections were in power and they all had the opportunity to show how much they love and value Budva. I believe that all Budva women and men from Budva will appreciate the results of the previous period and that they will reward or punish according to their merits. If we are guided by that logic, I have no doubts about the excellent regularity of the URA Civic Movement and I believe that after that we will set up a platform for Budva to finally move forward, which means better, fairer, fairer in relation to all the citizens who live in this city. I think that the women of Budva deserve it. I believe that the people who personify this list can make a strong contribution to finally get out of this mess and to finally make Budva what it has always been. should be - the queen of the Mediterranean and the place that is the most prestigious in Montenegro and that generates the most income for our country. and let a European, Mediterranean, true civic spirit of Budva finally come to life," said Abazović.
Councilor candidate Ivan Ivanović said that when he thinks that the system has collapsed and that it cannot be worse than what it was, he is always surprised that it can be worse.
"This is exactly what is happening between May and these repeated elections, and this is the reason why I decided to be part of the URA Civic Movement list again, because our party has shown and proven that it works differently from the others. We have proven that party and personal interests will never be a priority in relation to what the city and Montenegro need. It is true that we have paid a high price for such a policy, because we have made brave decisions. for those who really want fundamental and radical changes in our city, and that is the Citizens' Movement URA," Ivanović stressed.
