The analysis of the non-governmental organization (NGO) Association for Responsible and Sustainable Development (UZOR) showed that the citizens of Montenegro attribute the most positive influence on politics in the country to the European Union (24,6 percent), and the greatest negative influence to Serbia (14,2 percent), announced is from that NGO.
They said that 43,7 percent of citizens believe that the political situation in Montenegro is going in the wrong direction, and that they recognize weak political leadership and external interference in internal politics as the most serious problems.
UZOR points out that the data of their research show that Serbia has the greatest positive impact on the economy of Montenegro (16,3 percent), while respondents see the greatest negative impact on the economy of Montenegro in Russia (11,6 percent), while a significant percentage of respondents ( 15,4 percent) believes that "no" country or group of countries has a particularly negative impact on our economy.
"As many as 45,3 percent of citizens believe that we do not have fair and free election processes in Montenegro, and the fact that almost 70 percent of citizens believe that corruption in the government is a serious problem is particularly alarming," the announcement states.
According to the opinion of citizens, according to UZOR, the most important security issue that Montenegro is currently facing is organized crime, which was identified by 35.9 percent of respondents.
"Cybercrime is in second place with 10,8 percent, while immigration 7,2 percent and external military threats (seven percent) are recognized as serious potential problems," it added.
